Multiple stack-based buffer overflows in the WebLaunch.WeblaunchCtl.1 (aka CWebLaunchCtl) ActiveX control in weblaunch.ocx 1.0.0.1 in Gateway Weblaunch allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a long string in the (1) second or (2) fourth argument to the DoWebLaunch method. The product performs operations on a memory buffer, but it reads from or writes to a memory location outside the buffer's intended boundary. This may result in read or write operations on unexpected memory locations that could be linked to other variables, data structures, or internal program data.
