Buffer overflow in the bd daemon in F5 Networks BIG-IP Application Security Manager (ASM) 9.4.4 through 9.4.7 and 10.0.0 through 10.0.1, and Protocol Security Manager (PSM) 9.4.5 through 9.4.7 and 10.0.0 through 10.0.1, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) via unknown vectors. The product performs operations on a memory buffer, but it reads from or writes to a memory location outside the buffer's intended boundary. This may result in read or write operations on unexpected memory locations that could be linked to other variables, data structures, or internal program data.
