Directory traversal vulnerability in Django 1.1.x before 1.1.4 and 1.2.x before 1.2.5 on Windows might allow remote attackers to read or execute files via a / (slash) character in a key in a session cookie, related to session replays.
The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory.
