APT before 1.0.9, when the Acquire::GzipIndexes option is enabled, does not validate checksums, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted package.
The product receives input or data, but it does not validate or incorrectly validates that the input has the properties that are required to process the data safely and correctly.
