Cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in markposts.php in Moodle 3.0 through 3.0.3, 2.9 through 2.9.5, 2.8 through 2.8.11, 2.7 through 2.7.13 and earlier allows remote attackers to hijack the authentication of users for requests that marks forum posts as read.
The web application does not, or cannot, sufficiently verify whether a request was intentionally provided by the user who sent the request, which could have originated from an unauthorized actor.
