FileRun (version 2017.09.18 and below) suffers from a remote SQL injection vulnerability due to a failure to sanitize input in the metafield parameter inside the metasearch module (under the search function).
The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. Without sufficient removal or quoting of SQL syntax in user-controllable inputs, the generated SQL query can cause those inputs to be interpreted as SQL instead of ordinary user data.
