lldptool version 1.0.1 and older can print a raw, unsanitized attacker controlled buffer when mngAddr information is displayed. This may allow an attacker to inject shell control characters into the buffer and impact the behavior of the terminal.
The product constructs a log message from external input, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements when the message is written to a log file.
The product performs operations on a memory buffer, but it reads from or writes to a memory location outside the buffer's intended boundary. This may result in read or write operations on unexpected memory locations that could be linked to other variables, data structures, or internal program data.
