A prototype pollution vulnerability was found in node.extend <1.1.7, ~<2.0.1 that allows an attacker to inject arbitrary properties onto Object.prototype.
The product does not properly control the allocation and maintenance of a limited resource.
The product constructs all or part of a command, data structure, or record using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify how it is parsed or interpreted when it is sent to a downstream component.
