SQL Injection exists in the ccNewsletter 2.x component for Joomla! via the id parameter in a task=removeSubscriber action, a related issue to CVE-2011-5099.
The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. Without sufficient removal or quoting of SQL syntax in user-controllable inputs, the generated SQL query can cause those inputs to be interpreted as SQL instead of ordinary user data.
