An issue was discovered in Joomla! before 3.9.7. The subform fieldtype does not sufficiently filter or validate input of subfields. This leads to XSS attack vectors.
The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
