In Spree before versions 3.7.11, 4.0.4, or 4.1.11, expired user tokens could be used to access Storefront API v2 endpoints. The issue is patched in versions 3.7.11, 4.0.4 and 4.1.11. A workaround without upgrading is described in the linked advisory.
When an actor claims to have a given identity, the product does not prove or insufficiently proves that the claim is correct.
According to WASC, "Insufficient Session Expiration is when a web site permits an attacker to reuse old session credentials or session IDs for authorization."
