ActiveMediaServer.exe in ACTi NVR3 Standard Server 3.0.12.42 allows remote unauthenticated attackers to trigger a buffer overflow and application termination via a malformed payload.
The product copies an input buffer to an output buffer without verifying that the size of the input buffer is less than the size of the output buffer, leading to a buffer overflow.
