PHP-CMS v1.0 was discovered to contain a SQL injection vulnerability in the component search.php via the search parameter. This vulnerability allows attackers to access sensitive database information.
The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. Without sufficient removal or quoting of SQL syntax in user-controllable inputs, the generated SQL query can cause those inputs to be interpreted as SQL instead of ordinary user data.
