Selenium Server (Grid) before 4 allows CSRF because it permits non-JSON content types such as application/x-www-form-urlencoded, multipart/form-data, and text/plain.
The web application does not, or cannot, sufficiently verify whether a request was intentionally provided by the user who sent the request, which could have originated from an unauthorized actor.
