A memory corruption vulnerability exists in the HTTP Server form boundary functionality of Weston Embedded uC-HTTP v3.01.01. A specially crafted network packet can lead to code execution. An attacker can send a malicious packet to trigger this vulnerability.
The product performs operations on a memory buffer, but it reads from or writes to a memory location outside the buffer's intended boundary. This may result in read or write operations on unexpected memory locations that could be linked to other variables, data structures, or internal program data.
The product writes data past the end, or before the beginning, of the intended buffer.
