In Delta Electronics InfraSuite Device Master v.1.0.7, a vulnerability exists that allows an attacker to write to any file to any location of the filesystem, which could lead to remote code execution.
Solution:
The product uses external input to construct a pathname that should be within a restricted directory, but it does not properly neutralize '.../...//' (doubled triple dot slash) sequences that can resolve to a location that is outside of that directory.
The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory.
