IBM Aspera Shares 1.9.0 through 1.10.0 PL6 could allow an attacker to spoof their IP address, which is written to log files, due to improper verification of 'Client-IP' headers.
The product constructs a log message from external input, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements when the message is written to a log file.
The product prepares a structured message for communication with another component, but encoding or escaping of the data is either missing or done incorrectly. As a result, the intended structure of the message is not preserved.
